Mod Mix Monday #199

 via
I'm in love with this little corner of this kitchen.

My faves from last time's Mod Mix Monday are...
Pam of Everyday Living made these lemon rosemary short breads.
She included the recipe and I'm dying to try them!
A walk through the garden at Priscilla's. That's Ronnie her dog waiting for you at the end of the path.

Penny of Penny's Treasures shared her creative container gardening.
I adore this chandelier in a flower pot.
Vickie of Ranger 911 has been busy painting.
Isn't this a cute display?
Love this summer display at Priscilla's.

Sorry posting has been few and far between.
I'm doing the best I can these days.

Mod Mix Monday #198

 via
Isn't this such a fresh room? I love how they've mixed that serious antique desk with the 60's
mod chair.
This room is very traditional but the lamps, accessories and fabrics keep the room from
being stodgy.

Faves from last week's Mod Mix Monday...
Priscilla shared how her garden is growing.
 I especially love this photo...magical.
Pam of Everyday Living showed off her pretty bedroom all done up for Summer.
I love the colors in this room.
Christine of Rustic Refined showed off her industrial farm house dining room.
Lots of good stuff in this room.

Open House Sunday

Tudor in Buckhead Neighborhood of Atlanta
built in 1929
This large tudor is brimming over with original details and lovely modernizations.
And the grounds surrounding it are like a beautiful park.
Enjoy!
Quite the expanse of green lawn!
Such a great front door under the shade of the portico!
The paint colors and light fixtures add to the ambiance of this home.
I love those big blue pots there in the distance filled with boxwoods.
Arches painted out in light grey highlight the features of this home without making the walls feel heavy.
What do you think about these dark walls.
Usually, I don't care for dark walls but I love them for this room.
There is not a thing I'd change about this room.
Then in this den we have navy lacquered walls!
Another choice I'd never think to do but I am really liking it quite a bit.
I love those dark green velvet chairs in this room too.
Doesn't this room almost feel you are under the sea?
Here is the living room....Look at that row of arches! So quaint and pretty!
Love the nook the fireplace sits in...and that it's painted the dark blue.
What a wonderful space! I love the very collected furnishings.
What about this kitchen? Just about perfect, I'd say.
Yes, this kitchen would do me just fine.
Love the beamed ceilings.
Simple bath...I like that shelf over the toilet very much.
What do you think about the wallpaper in this bedroom? It certainly modernizes the space.
Ok, there is one thing in this bath I love.
It's all pretty but I adore having a bathroom mirror in front of a window.
My cousin had a bathroom like this with a mirror in the middle of the window.
When she bought the house we both didn't care for it but we soon changed our minds.
We both grew to love it. It gives you the best light to do your makeup and it's unusual.
This is a very pretty bathroom and that mirror just makes it for me.
Another pretty bath. Lots of gray in this home.
Another very traditional bedroom that is updated with the fabrics and rug.
I'm not sure about this bath but then I'm not much of a green person...unless it's outside.
I do like the wallpaper pattern...just not the color.
Can a drive way be pretty? Oh yes it can!
The grounds around this house are just spectacular.
Can you imagine taking a stroll through this every morning?
Very very pretty little bridge over a stream.
Lots of outdoor spaces to sit and enjoy the gardens.
Just look at this patio area! A little over grown in just the right way.
I love the color all the trim is painted on this house.
This home just has space after beautiful space.

Mod Mix Monday #197

 via
I love this kitchen! Isn't that green cabinet fun? Talk about a one of a kind kitchen!
It's just so quaint and pretty.

So I'm back with Mod Mix Monday...very late...but better late than never...I suppose.
And there were soooo many good things in the last Mod Mix Monday that I have lots of faves.
Here we go!
Look at the color in this outdoor table scape from Pam at Everyday Living!
Jamie of So Much Better with Age shared a cute sign she has hanging in her
shall I say elegant laundry room.
Wow! I love this room.
Vickie at Ranger 911 shared some changes in her living room.
Darrielle of DD's Cottage shared some pretty vignettes from around her house...
but this was by far the prettiest.
Her dog lounging in the living room.
Angie of Postcards from the Ridge shared her dining room and the blue touches in the living room.
This room makes me SMILE just like the pillow says.
Summer flowers from Jan at Just Jan Blog
Cecilia of My Thrift Store Addiction took a risk and painted her stove the prettiest shade
of green and it was a huge success!
She was inspired by the vintage looking stoves made by Big Chill that cost over $5000.
I have drooled over those stoves myself. I'll be anxious to hear how this paint job holds up.
